Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Purdue vs Indiana game from Memorial Stadium online.
Ah, the battle for the Old Oaken Bucket. The deepest rivalry in the state of Indiana, maybe. Indiana opens the game as big-time favorites to claim the bucket, but the Boilermakers have nothing to lose. Indiana needs a win on Saturday to become bowl eligible.
Richard Lagow will look to lead this team to its sixth win after nearly coming out of Ann Arbor with an upset win last weekend. He’s surpassed the 3,000-yard passing mark for the season and has 17 touchdowns to 13 interceptions.
Nick Westbrook is just 129 receiving yards away from 1,000 on the year while Ricky Jones and Mitchell Paige have also been solid. Devine Redding needs just 49 yards to reach 1,000 for the second consecutive season.
Purdue has put together a nightmare of a season. Before the year began, the hope was that Darrell Hazell would lead this team to a near .500 record and maybe even a bowl berth. However, the Boilermakers are just 3-8 and he has been fired mid-season.
Although David Blough has put up big numbers through the air, his turnover rate is incredibly high. He has passed for 3,127 yards and 23 touchdowns but his 19 interceptions have been holding him back. He needs to improve on that moving forward.
DeAngelo Yancey has been the best weapon on an offensive with a non-existent run game. He has 43 catches for 873 yards and nine touchdowns and looks to be a potential NFL draft prospect.
